Great news, WMAES family! The U.S. News and World Report has officially named us in the top 100 public high schools in the state of Michigan!
We at West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science take pride in providing an educational space that fosters creativity, promotes academic achievement, and develops sound character in our students. Established in 1995, we’ve aimed to bring a unique learning experience to our community. Since then, we’ve grown large enough to serve students from preschool through high school, and have expanded our campus to 5 unique ecosystems across 62 acres.
With environmental specialists serving all grades, Advanced Placement courses, college-readiness programs and much more, our school has become a leading example in what charter schools are capable of. The U.S. News ranks over 25,000 public schools across the country annually, and we are proud to announce that West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science was found to yet again be in the top 100 high schools in the state.
We are proud to hear that we are a leading example in public education. Between our dedicated staff, college/state assessment readiness, and diverse list of extracurriculars, it is a joy to know that our hard work has come to fruition.
As always, we know the work doesn’t stop here, and as we launch into the 2023 – 2024 school year we are thrilled to bring more incredible opportunities to our students. We have plenty prepared for this year, so be sure to keep an eye on our social media and website to see what we are up to!
