For our truly young minds, the Pre-K program at West Michigan Academy provides an excellent foundation in the fundamentals of early learning at no cost to parents. The program is fully funded through the Michigan School Readiness Program, and is designed to help prepare each child for a successful transition into school. The class encourages parental involvement and focuses on a curriculum that includes reading, writing, math and science concepts, all presented in a caring, nurturing and creative environment. Our Pre-K program is a structured learning environment that focuses on social play, and kindergarten readiness skills. All of our students, including Pre-K, must follow the WMAES policies and procedures. This includes uniform guidelines. All Pre-K students must be age 4 by November 1 to enroll.

As a four year teacher at WMAES, I am very thankful to be in a public school that values the individual needs of its students EVERY single day.
